Happy Thanksgiving to Everyone out there in the blogging world! We are so grateful for this time of year where we can count all of our blessings and remember all the things that God has done for us. This past week on Tuesday night into Wednesday I caught the flu. It had me out for two days. I was really tired but Mike was here to look after the kids. It is so great that he has a job with enough time off to do things like that. His boss even made it so that he didn't have to take a vacation day. Bonnie was here to take care of the kids on Thursday. She is such a blessing to me and my family. She has pretty much adopted us like we were her own. I look forward to every Thursday spending time with her.
On Thursday night, Cameron had his Thanksgiving celebration at school. I was glad that I was well enough to go to that. I wouldn't have missed it for anything. He got to dress up like and Indian with an Indian name, Wise Wolf, and be our guide for the night. He showed us all that he had been up to at school and some of the artwork that he had made. He is so creative. I don't know where he would have gotten that from ;) Then we were able to partake of a bountiful harvest of desserts. Unfortunately, I did not think that desserts would be so good for my newly recovered stomach so I stuck with only a couple. It was fun to see Cameron interact with his friends and teacher. He just adores her. She might even be better than Mommy. Probably because she never yells at him.
We will be heading out to the family's house this week for the Thanksgiving festivities and work. I can't wait. It will be such fun. Oh, by the way Mom and Dad, I just want to warn you ahead of time that Keira screeches at mealtime. We are working on it, and I think she did better today. She just gets excited about eating. She also started eating real food and her feeding herself has helped with the screeching. She just thinks that Mom and Dad are too slow about getting the food to her mouth.
