The boys first sledding experience

This past December about a week before Christmas it snowed. We had just bought the boys their first sled, and we decided to give it to the boys early so they could enjoy the fresh snow. Cameron and Garrett both went down the hill in our backyard with Daddy. Here are a few pictures from that day. As a side note, I think that Daddy enjoyed the sled more than the boys.

Garrett is the only one that is truly dressed for the weather. He is the only one with boots and a snowsuit because I found the boots on clearance last year and the snowsuit was from the neighbor.

As a little side note to Susie. Thanks for the note on my blog. It is great to hear from you. I couldn't seem get to your site from your post so I have to add it here. I hope that everything goes well for your third birth. I really hope that we have a girl on our third go around because I want someone to make cute clothes for and to do girl stuff with.

For right now these are my girls, Molly, the dog and Trinity, the cat. We also have a girl turtle and a boy rabbit.

Disaster in the Kitchen

Our dear little Garrett was in the kitchen with us this morning while we were trying to get breakfast underway. He was trying to help by pulling out contents from the pantry. He pulled out the macaroni noodles and proceeded to start shaking the box and making music. We thought that this was cute and so we let it go. Unfortunately, a few minutes later the box lid flew open and the contents sprayed everywhere. The kitchen floor looked like a noodle work of art. He could not have covered more surface area if he had tried. It is funny that one of the first things that I thought about was the show Numbers and how he would have some mathematical theory as to why each noodle landed exactly where it did. Anyway, I had to sweep up all of the "art" and throw it in the trash. That was a nice start to the day.

Some Easter Pictures

We didn't take too many pictures, but here are the better ones. Don't mind the cowboy coming out of Garrett's head. Mike was in a hurry when he took the picture and didn't see that there were things in the background.

Happy Easter Everyone! He is Risen!

We hope that your Easter was very blessed. We went to the early (8:00) service yesterday which meant that Mike and I had to wake up at 5:30 to be there on time. That was very early for me because I haven't woken up at that time in a very long time. Seven o'clock is my usual wake up time. At 6:00 the boys woke up and found their Easter baskets and looked for the eggs. Garrett was very interested in the candy and he didn't want to look for the eggs until he found out that there was candy inside the egg. Then he would hoard the candy and not look for any more. He is so silly. It is all about the food with him. Cameron would have found all of the eggs by himself if we would have let him. Anyway, we made it to church and we sang and went to the first service, taught the little two year olds in the second service, and sang the opener for the third service, and then we went home. We had Easter lunch/dinner at Mike's parents and then watched Lord of the Rings. I was so tired last night that I went to bed at 9:30.

All in all it was very blessed day considering all that the Lord has done for us. Thank you Lord for dying for my many sins.

Cute Beckett Kids

Here are the cute Beckett boys Garrett is the red head on the left and Cameron is the blonde on the right. As you can tell I don 't know how to use this site yet.

Here's a good shot of Garrett, serious about, whatever he's holding.

And as you can tell, Cameron is photogenic and KNOWS it!

Okay, we're adding a cute pic of our dog Molly as well, since she's our furry kid.

First blog

This is just a test. I am not really sure what to write.
